Jeremy Sunkett is the assistant vice president for business and real estate at Rowan University.
In his current role at Rowan, Jeremy serves as a principal financial officer of the division and is responsible for the administration of capital and operating budgets, specifically the largest non-academic budgets within the university. He also develops real estate, financial and operational strategies for core and auxiliary assets, manages strategic allocation of university resources with respect to real estate assets, contracted services, utility purchases and other financial and operational matters. His other duties inhis current role include real estate master planning, operational metrics, project management, project financial analysis, communications and public relations, RFP development and management, policy development and acting as a primary liaison to the CFO’s office.
Jeremy has been involved in some aspect of economic development for his entire career. As an Economic Development Analyst/Project Manager with the Delaware River Port Authority, he was part of a team that managed projects and financing within the Authority’s $100+ million bi-state portfolio. Among the projects he managed were the financing and construction of a $10 million educational facility and the $30 million redevelopment of the Admiral Wilson Boulevard, the major thoroughfare linking Philadelphia and South Jersey.
Jeremy holds a bachelor’s degree in government from Georgetown University and a master’s degree in governmental administration with a certificate in public finance from the University of Pennsylvania.
